DuoraThese Terms govern use of the Duora app (Android, package com.duora.duora) and the duoraapp.com website. By installing or using Duora you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Duora is a question game for couples. Each person answers about themselves and tries to guess their partner's answers; at the end the app shows the score. It can be played on one device or on two devices through temporary rooms.
The app is free, has no in-app purchases, and is supported by ads (Google AdMob banner).
Who can use it
Duora is intended for people aged 18 or older. The Intimacy theme uses suggestive language. If the law of your country sets a higher age, that age applies. You play with a person who agreed to play with you.
License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the app on your devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app, the question text, the design, the name and the Duora mark belong to their owners and are protected by law.
You may not copy, sell, redistribute, decompile or reverse engineer the app, or use it to train automated systems, except where the law expressly allows.
Conduct in distance mode
In distance mode, what you write is shown to the other person in the room. You agree not to write content that is unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, involves minors, or is sexually explicit or non-consensual; nor to impersonate anyone or try to guess other people's room codes.
The app has a basic filter and a Report button. A report stores the reported text for review, closes the room for both players and returns a reference number. We may block server access for anyone who violates these Terms.
Your content
Answers you write remain yours. You authorize us only to transmit them to the other person in the room and, if reported, to store and review them as described in the Privacy Policy.
Ads and third-party services
The app shows Google AdMob ads, subject to Google's policies. We do not control advertisers or ad content. Third-party links and ads have their own terms.
Availability
We work to keep the room server online but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Same-phone mode does not depend on the server. We may change, suspend or end features, including distance mode, with or without notice.
No warranties
Duora is entertainment. It is provided “as is”, with no warranty that it fits a particular purpose. The questions are not psychological, medical or relationship advice, and the game's result does not measure the quality of a relationship.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for content written by other users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law, including consumer protection law, does not allow to be limited.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction, that right is preserved.
